Cool story: Yak chews are a centuries-old hard cheese recipe, developed by Nepalese yak herdsmen who needed quick doses of protein at high elevations. We use the same simple recipe here. Starting with milk, we use salt and lime to create curds, which are then pressed, hardened, cut and smoked over a fire for 1-2 months. All Certified Organic ingredients are sourced directly from the Himalayan foothills.✌️
