You don’t know it yet, but you might save someone’s life one day. Your eyes haven’t opened, your ears haven’t opened, and all you know right now is that your place is at your mother’s teat. In years to come, your place will be at the side of a soldier.
You don’t know it yet, but you will form an unbreakable bond with a human, that will give him/her a sense of companionship that no other human can emulate.
You are soothed by the soft sounds of Yo-Yo Ma and the Piano Guys. You know that you sometimes fall asleep in the arms of a human. You don’t know it yet, but your sounds will soothe troubled cries and a human will finally fall asleep comfortably because you are there.
You don’t know that your tiny life was in danger before you were even born. Your life, and the life of your mother will never be placed in danger again.
You have a big role to fill tiny puppy. I can’t wait to help you get there.
